Amy Wright
Amy Wright, DPT
Amy obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in
May of 2017. She joined the HPT team in July of that year. Amy enjoys treating
patients with a number of orthopedic conditions and athletic injuries, including
patients who are post-surgical. She is currently participating in an Orthopedic
Physical Therapy Residency through Evidence in Motion, and plans to sit for the
Orthopedic Clinical Specialist exam at the end of the 18-month program.
Amy is originally from Martinsburg, WV. She first came to Huntington in 2010 to
pursue an undergraduate degree at Marshall University. She graduated from
Marshall in 2013 with a BS in Athletic Training. Amy currently resides in Huntington
with her fiancé and 2 dogs. On the weekends, she enjoys disc golfing with friends,
playing with her dogs, recreational soccer games, and going to concerts/festivals.
