HPT Physical Therapy Specialists can determine the job capacity and demand level of jobs through tests and measurements. The Physical Therapist goes on site to observe the job and measure the force, height, weight and repetitive nature of the material handling to establish demand levels. The evaluation can also include measurements of present range of motion, strength and extension and flexion of the lumbar and cervical spine. Heart rate, posture and lifting techniques will also be observed. Grip strength, pinch, intrinsic strength and range of motion of the hand could also be added for more information or to establish base line information.

​HPT will formulate and validate the skills. A written job demand will be provided as well as a functional test.

HPT will functionally test the employee candidate to determine work capacity at the time of offer of employment. This test can be performed on site or at our facility.
