Phillip Mandt, born and raised in Huntington, WV attended West Virginia State University in 2015. He played 4 years of Division II baseball while completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. In 2018 he traveled to Palm Springs, CA to play semi professional baseball for the Palm Springs Power. Once returning to Huntington, Phillip completed his MS in Exercise Physiology from Marshall University in 2021. While at Marshall he was a graduate assistant with the Olympic Strength and Conditioning staff. He joined the HPT staff in 2022 as a full time PT Tech and will be returning to school at Mountwest Community & Technical College to pursue an AAS in Physical Therapy Assistant.
Phillip’s interest in Physical Therapy is driven by his past experiences with baseball and strength and conditioning. Other interests include recreational golf, traveling, fitness, and spending time with friends and family.
