Sarah Williams grew up in Ripley, West Virginia, where she first became interested in physical therapy while recovering from a knee injury as a basketball player at Ripley High School. In 2018, she obtained a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Spanish from West Virginia University. During her time in Morgantown, she was a member of the WVU Women's Rowing Team for two seasons and was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team in 2017. She graduated from WVU again in 2021 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy before moving to Huntington and starting her career as a physical therapist with HPT in May.
Sarah is passionate about working together with people of all backgrounds to improve their movement so that they can participate more fully in their daily lives. She enjoys treating all types of conditions, including sports injuries, balance issues, and painful joints. She plans to specialize in pelvic health physical therapy and treat conditions such as bowel and bladder incontinence, constipation, and pelvic pain. Outside of work, Sarah loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and camping. She also likes to travel, play guitar, read, collect houseplants, and spend time with friends and family. |
