Brenda Marcum , PT, CWCE

|
Brenda came to Huntington from Buffalo, New York. She graduated from D'Youville College in Buffalo in 1997. Brenda has experience in both inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy Services.
In June 2004 Brenda began working for HPT, where she evaluates and treats patients with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Brenda is trained in the Matheson method of industrial/functional capacity evaluations. She assists HPT's WORC program by performing Functional Capacity Evaluations and compiling the results in the Matheson format, conducting job-site analysis and providing consultation and care to WORC program participants.
Brenda achieved her certification as a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator through the Matheson System during the summer of 2006. This is the single most important indication that an individual has achieved and maintains the highest level of work evaluation expertise through fieldwork, education and completion of course work. These evaluations are important for determining the ability to return to work after injury on the job or are used in Social Security Disability Determinations.
