Good Posture
There is a secret HPT would like to share with you. It can help you do more with less effort, breath easier and feel great. So what's this big secret? GOOD POSTURE. It sounds simple but most people, especially children and teenagers, use very poor posture. Faulty posture may cause fatigue, strain and may even effect the position and function of vital organs, especially those in the abdominal area. On the other hand, good posture helps your body function at top speed, promotes movement efficiency and helps to improve endurance.
The best way to check your posture is to have someone take a side view picture of you and answer the following questions:
- Does your head slump forward?
- Does your chin tilt up with the head back?
- Are your shoulders drooped forward?
- Does your stomach sag?
- Is your lower back flat?
- Do your knees bend forward?
If you answer yes to any of these questions you may need to improve your posture. Don't let gravity get you down! For more information, call HPT for a brochure on the secrets of good posture.
